Natural Shades of Red-Cookie Icing Recipes

Here are three icing recipes to create gorgeous shades of red. ColorKitchen Red Velvet color packet contains approx. 3 Tbsp of deep red, magenta color.

BRIGHT RED (left)
3 cups powdered sugar
5 Tbsp milk
2 Tbsp Red Velvet Color
ColorKitchen Orange Food Color (approx ½ packet or 1 tsp)

DEEP RED - RED VELVET (middle)
3 cups powdered sugar
5 Tbsp milk
3 Tbsp Red Velvet Color (full packet)

BRIGHT RED (right)
3 cups powdered sugar
5 Tbsp milk
2 Tbsp Red Velvet Color
1 ColorKitchen Yellow Food Color (approx 1 ½ tsp)
